Product Manager m/v

Onze partner is actief in de gespecialiseerde media - B2C & B2B gericht, en is leader op zijn markt.  In het kader van de uitbreiding van zijn activiteiten zoeken we een Product Manager.

Functie :

As Product Manager you will have the unique opportunity to find yourself amongst passionate internet addicts, eager to optimize the current service and to create and launch innovative solutions. You will manage a part of the platform, which is in fact a bundle of products and services dedicated to the different clients we are catering for.

Your role :

• You are involved through all stages of the lifecycle of your product portfolio and you provide oversight of strategy, technical and commercial aspects related to your product 
• You partner with internal teams including SW Development, Marketing, Customer Service and Sales in order to drive and execute on the following:
• Collect market requirements, identify and validate market problems and assess new opportunities
• Involve customers in validating new ideas and products
• Product positioning, including key benefits and competitive advantages for all customer types your product is catering for
• Together with the marketing manager & sales team you identify the tactics to reach out to the target audience for your product and you support the implementation of the go-to-market plan
• You define and document with the support of sales & marketing the buying process for all customer types your product is catering for
• You are responsible for defining market requirements and ensure that the requirements are documented in a standard, detailed and sufficiently unambiguous manner, for further elaboration by the functional analyst prior to programming
• You create and maintain the business plan
• You keep the product roadmap always up to date, you define and manage roadmap evolutions and manage vendor/partner relationships
• You are responsible for the coordination and internal communication of the product releases 
• You ensure up to date product documentation (presentations, descriptions, etc.) to support sales & marketing
• You are accountable for the performance of your product: you measure, evaluate and drive actions to improve the performance of your product, you participate to budgeting and financial forecasting exercises

Uw profiel :

• Proven track record as product manager of online products / services 
• Ability to understand customers' needs, business processes and strategy in order to offer the most appropriate solutions 
• Strong project management skills
• You have the necessary financial skills to build business cases
• Well organized & detail oriented
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Team player
• Fluent in Dutch & French, as well as English
